The experience

Time enough for the forest to become familiar.

Five days give the Amazon room to unfold: wildlife canoe expeditions, a jungle survival trek, a traditional caboclo family, seasonal flooded forests — and a wilderness camp night with dinner cooked over an open fire.

Your base is a jungle lodge on the Paraná do Mamori with private air-conditioned rooms and full-board regional cooking. Three nights are spent there, one night at a traditional campsite deep in the forest, and the final day is shaped around your group — weather, season and curiosity decide where the last canoe goes.

Day by day

From the Meeting of the Waters to a sky full of stars.

Day 1

Into the Amazon

8:30 AM · Departure

Hotel pick-up in Manaus

Your adventure begins with hotel pick-up, then travel to Ceasa Port to board a speedboat.

Meeting of the Waters

Two rivers that refuse to mix

Cross the legendary Meeting of the Waters, where the Rio Negro and the Solimões flow side by side without mixing.

BR-319 · Victoria Regia

Giant water lilies on the way south

Continue to Vila do Careiro and drive along the BR-319, stopping to admire the impressive Victoria Regia giant water lilies.

Paraná do Mamori

By canoe to the lodge

At the Paraná do Mamori River, board a regional motorized canoe for the final leg to the jungle lodge — arriving around 12:30 PM, in time for lunch.

Canoe Exploration

First wildlife outing

Explore the surrounding rainforest by canoe in search of monkeys, sloths, macaws, toucans and countless other Amazonian species.

The Amazon turns gold

Dinner and first overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 2

Jungle Survival & Night Safari

Before Sunrise

Birdwatching as the forest wakes

Wake before sunrise for a birdwatching excursion as the rainforest comes alive.

Jungle Hike

Medicinal plants and survival techniques

After breakfast, a guided jungle hike led by a native guide — medicinal plants, wildlife, biodiversity and traditional jungle survival techniques.

Piranha Fishing

The classic Amazon afternoon

After lunch, experience traditional piranha fishing before returning to the lodge.

Night Safari

Caimans in the dark

Following dinner, head into the rainforest for a thrilling night safari in search of caimans and other nocturnal wildlife.

Overnight at the lodge.

Day 3

Amazon Culture & Flooded Forests

Caboclo Family

Everyday life in the Amazon

Visit a traditional caboclo family — their customs, lifestyle, cassava cultivation and deep connection with the rainforest.

Igapós & Igarapés

A quiet canoe through drowned forest

After lunch, a peaceful canoe excursion through the Amazon's remarkable waterways. In the high-water season (approximately March to September), navigate enchanting flooded forests (igapós) and narrow rainforest channels (igarapés) — exceptional territory for wildlife photography and birdwatching.

Free Evening

Stars, moonlight and river silence

The evening is yours — relax by the river, admire the stars and moonlight, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the rainforest.

Overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

Wilderness Camp

Remote Exploration

Further by trail and canoe

After breakfast, continue exploring remote areas of the rainforest by hiking and canoe.

Jungle Camp

Build the camp, cook over fire

In the afternoon, venture deeper into the jungle to establish a traditional rainforest campsite — learning practical survival techniques while helping prepare camp, cooking over an open fire, and watching spear fishing demonstrations (seasonal).

An unforgettable night surrounded by the sounds of the Amazon, beneath a sky full of stars.

Day 5

Final Amazon Experience

Your Choice

One last activity, tailored to the group

After breakfast, a final activity with your guide, shaped by weather conditions and group interests — revisit a favorite location or explore a new corner of the rainforest, depending on the season.

Back across the rivers

Lunch at the lodge or with a local riverside family, then the return journey to Manaus — estimated arrival around 5:00 PM, with drop-off at your hotel or Manaus International Airport.
