The Amazon at a slower paceThis 4 day Amazon jungle expedition from Manaus travels deep into the rainforest — remote waterways, incredible wildlife, authentic riverside culture and an unforgettable night camping in the jungle under the Amazon sky.
The experience
Four unforgettable days immersed in one of the world's most extraordinary ecosystems — with time to go further: deeper waterways, a traditional caboclo family, and a night at a rainforest campsite far from any road.
The expedition balances comfort and wilderness. Three nights are anchored by a jungle lodge with private air-conditioned rooms and full-board regional cooking — and one of them trades the bed for a traditional camp deep in the forest, surrounded only by the sounds of the rainforest. On the final morning, a canoe glides through igarapés and flooded igapó forests where pink and tucuxi dolphins hunt.
Day by day
Your journey begins with hotel pick-up, then travel by road to Ceasa Port to board a speedboat.
Cross the legendary Meeting of the Waters, where the Rio Negro and the Solimões flow side by side without mixing.
Continue to Vila do Careiro and drive along the BR-319, stopping to admire the giant Victoria Regia water lilies.
At the Paraná do Mamori River, board a regional motorized canoe for the final leg to the jungle lodge — arriving around 12:30 PM, in time for lunch.
