days and 4 nights
Day 1 – Departure at 8:30 am from the hotel,
transfer by car to the Ceasa Port (20 minutes).
Board a speedboat sailing to the meeting of the waters, a quick stop for photos and explanation, (30 minutes) to Vila do Careiro.
Stop to visit the local fruit market, and board a van or minibus (40 minutes on the BR 319) that connects Manaus to Porto Velho,
stop to photograph Vitória Regia,
then continue for 1:30 hours by road to the Paraná do Mamori River.
Transfer by regional canoe with arrival scheduled for approximately 12:30 pm.
(Lunch).
In the afternoon departure to explore the area. This tour is done in motorized canoes.
It is great for observing animals such as monkeys, sloths and a wide variety of birds.
Sunset.
At 7:30 pm dinner at the Ararinha Lodge restaurant.
2nd Day – (05:30 am) Departure for sunrise and bird watching
(breakfast).
(08:30 am) Jungle walk with a specialized jungle guide where you will learn how to survive in the jungle, in addition to learning about our fauna and biodiversity.
(Lunch at 12:00 pm).
In the afternoon, piranha fishing.
Return to the Lodge.
Dinner at 7:30 pm.
After dinner, departure to observe nocturnal animals and spot alligators with flashlights.
3rd Day – (08:00 am) Visit to the home of the caboclos to learn about their customs and culture, visiting a cassava plantation and other sites.
Lunch at 12:00 pm.
Afternoon Departure for a canoe ride and the best way to photograph the forest is to listen to the birds.
During the high river period (March to September), sail through the igapós (flooded forests) and Igarapés (small canals that cut through the flooded forests).
Dinner at 7:30 p.m.
This evening you will be free to enjoy the beautiful landscape of the river in front of you, the moonlight and the stars or use the game area for a drink.
4th and 5th Day – After breakfast, at 8:30 a.m.
we will set out to explore the jungle by hiking or canoeing.
In the afternoon we will set up camp in the jungle.
Overnight
(we will prepare our food, camp, spear fish, etc.). Dinner.
5th Day – Breakfast at 8:00 a.m.,
activity arranged with your guide, and you may repeat one of the activities.
Lunch can be at a local’s house or at the Lodge.
In the afternoon at 1:30 p.m. return by the same route with arrival scheduled for 5:00 p.m. You can end at the hotel or the airport.
